White Snow

When SPECTRE invited William S. Gregory to contribute a piece to the project, he chose his favorite story of passion and betrayal, Snow White. He elected to make his version, White Snow, a film noir spoof because, “the use of narrative and voice-overs in film noir is much like someone telling a fairytale aloud.” All the classic film noir characters are here: The Phillip Marlowe, rough-around-the-edges gumshoe named “Huntsman”, the dangerous femme fatal, the innocent beauty in distress and the snitch- one “Lukey Glass.” There’s double entendre and a laugh in every slick line of this parody, which is presented in cinematic black and white.
Also to be performed by an ensemble of four, two men, two women.
