Heart Failure Character/Set Breakdown

CAST LIST

What follows is a description of the players.  Individual descriptions of each character they play are included with each of the separate shows.

Man One:  Mid to late twenties.  Handsome, earnest type.  Boyish good looks.  Tenor to an A.  Plays Theo, Italian Tenor, Geofrey, Bellboy and Finn.

Woman One:  Mid to late twenties.  Beautiful, with a softness to her, but with an edge of the character actress about as well.  Soprano to a G-sharp.  Plays Stella, Kristin, and Shelley.

Man Two:  Mid to late thirties.  The kind of man who, with age, will become distinguished.  Tall, broad and muscular.  Baritone to an E.  Plays Ed, Bruce, Murphy, Captain Omnipotent, and Roy Koi.

Woman Two:  Mid thirties.  Tough and sexy.  There is almost always an “I dare you” quality to her.  She is a belt mezzo to an E.  Plays Trinka, Italian Alto, Commissioner Gordon, and Joy Koi.

 SET DESCRIPTION

Ideally, the entire set would have a black box feel to it, preferably with a turntable to facilitate the changes.  The show can be done without the turntable, I believe, and the changes can just happen in front of the audience.  The sets include- bare stage to begin, an office with two desks in it, a park bench by a small water fountain, a bedroom interior, a resort room interior, and underwater in a pond.
